Thalaraan was born in Silvermoon, sixty years before the first war, younger heir to a humble but highly skilled family of blacksmiths, since little he was amazingly talented in crafting and manipulating light, because of this he recieved intensive priest training.
He was eighty five when Silvermoon fell, the undead roamed Quel'thalas, the Sunwell had been corrupted and his family home destroyed, homeless and suffering from arcane magic addiction he contemplated following his prince, Kael'thas, in his quest to find a new source of power, but decided against it, as he felt his connection to the light grow weaker and feared he would do badly in battle.
Instead he went on a journey through Azeroth, trying to find a source of power by himself, feeding his hunger with mere fel crystals, in his travels he met a female elf mage from the Kirin Tor, who was also on a search for power, seeing their common goals, they decided to travel together.
After six years they married, just months after that he recieved news about a source of power in the form of a Naaru. He, of course, jumped at the chance to satisfy his addiction, and became a blood knight, leaving behind his priest ways, and taking up a sword instead, his wife, also overjoyed by this new source, left on a year long journey to find new magics, and he dedicated that time to exploring Outland, sadly on the day they were supposed to meet she never appeared.
A few weeks later he discovered she had died, fighting off undead, mad with grief he went on a rage filled rampage against the scourge, merely two years later, at the age of ninety four, he died, and was raised as a Death Knight.
He served under the command of the Lich King, he tortured, killed and mastered frost for one year, after the battle in Lights Hope he became free, and suffering from amnesia, he dedicated his existence to bringing Arthas down.
Joining one of the first expeditions to Northrend he met a group of Death Knight craftsmiths, who would, in time, ally with the Argent Crusade, and create the Ashen Verdict. He worked two years in equiping fellow fighters, and preparing heroes to fight Arthas, lastly he was one of the many craftsmen who helped create the weapon that could turn the tide, Shadowmourne.
The Lich Kings fall left him without a purpose, and he started doing mercenary work, clinging to the material rewards as a way to keep going.
The cataclysm did not hit him as he though it would, the apathy he felt surprising him, to try and change this he joined the front lines.
Following the discovery of the mysterious land of Pandaria and after a close call with the Sha of anger he joined a group of mercenaries, putting an end to his solo work, and hoping to find a new place to fit in. Months after joining the group, the mysterious last black dragon approached him, and started an alliance, Thalaraan accepted, interested in the rewards offered, strangely he has not seen The black prince since the re opening of the dark portal.
After the attack of the Iron Horde, he took off to Draenor, eager to clench the bloodlust he had to keep so carefully hidden in Pandaria
